Sofia Frank is currently serving as the Fundraising Chair for ASME at USF since April 2025 and previously participated as an IAM3D Member from September 2024 to April 2025, where responsibilities included designing glider parts using CAD software and 3D printing. As a Capstone R&D Intern at PainTEQ since August 2025 and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Florida since August 2024, engagement includes guiding new engineering students in developing functional robots and supporting projects in additive manufacturing, CAD, and circuitry. Additionally, experience as a Research Assistant at the Global Center for Hearing and Speech Research involved sample preparation, culturing, and leading a project utilizing MRI and CT imaging for treatment delivery in inner ear studies. Sofia Frank is pursuing a Biomedical Engineering degree at the University of South Florida, expected to graduate in 2026, following a high school diploma from Frank W. Springstead High School obtained in 2022.
