Andy Thai

James Thai has a diverse work experience in the field of design, particularly in textile and fashion. James is currently the Design Manager at Pair Eyewear, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Designer at Steve Madden from September 2021 to the present. From December 2020 to August 2021, they served as a Textile Designer at LeSportsac. Before that, they held the position of Textile Design Manager at Joe Fresh from July 2017 to November 2020. From January 2014 to June 2017, they worked as a Senior Textile Designer at Simply Vera Vera Wang. James also gained valuable experience as a Textile Design Intern at HELMUT LANG and a Print/Embroidery Intern at 3.1 Phillip Lim in 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Lab Technician at the Academy of Art University from September 2012 to May 2013. James began their career as a Product Development Intern at Ralph Lauren in 2011 and served as a Studio Intern at Piece x Piece LLC in 2010.

James Thai attended Monte Vista High School from 2006 to 2009. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Apparel and Textiles at the Academy of Art University from 2009 to 2013.
