Erik Taavila

Erik Taavila serves as the Information Security Director at PairSoft, where responsibilities include managing the Information Security Program and Management System since July 2022. In addition, Erik is a founder and board member at LahtiSec, actively coordinating memberships and merchandise. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Erik has worked at Nordea as a Security Officer and Security Expert, and held a Security Manager role at Basware, contributing to security management systems. Prior experience includes leading IT Security initiatives at UPM and working on various IT projects in programming and network security. Erik is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering at LUT University, complementing a Bachelor of Science in the same field. Additionally, Erik offers voluntary mentoring to those seeking advancement in cybersecurity and IT careers.
