Chandler Meyer

Chandler Meyer is a Scientist in Delivery Technology at Pairwise since December 2023. Previously, Chandler was a NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota from July 2023 to December 2023, focusing on optimizing viral-based plant genome editing methods in the lab of Dr. Dan Voytas. Chandler also served as a Postdoctoral Associate in Dr. Voytas's lab and conducted a PhD project as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2018 to May 2023, specializing in the development of a haploid inducer line for hybrid carrot production and creating novel gene editing techniques. Chandler's earlier experiences include an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the University of California, Los Angeles and an internship at Finca Mono Verde, along with serving as a Residential Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Chandler holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics and a Bachelor's of Science in Horticultural Science, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
