Joanne Hunt is a scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry, protein engineering, and gene editing. Currently at Pairwise since March 2019, Joanne specializes in protein purification and has a strong background in designing CRISPR assays. Previously, Joanne held positions at DowDuPont and DuPont Pioneer, focusing on trait discovery and optimization, where expertise in characterizing protein leads and developing assays for agronomic traits was demonstrated. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Plant Biology/Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, both from Arizona State University.
