Roy Smits is currently a Resource Manager at PAL-V International B.V., having previously served as a Design Engineer within the Landing Gear Team. Roy completed a Master of Science in Offshore and Dredging Engineering at Delft University of Technology, where they explored sustainable energy production. Their experience includes a graduate internship at Delft Offshore Turbine B.V. and course creation at DOB-Academy, along with a focus on innovative projects, such as investigating cold deep sea water utilization in Indonesia. Prior to their engineering career, Roy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and attended Dongemond College.
