Gretchen Pineo

Gretchen Pineo is a Senior Architectural Historian at Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc. since March 2014, previously holding roles as Architectural Historian and Assistant Architectural Historian. In addition to this position, Gretchen serves as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the Masters of Design - Historic Preservation program at Boston Architectural College since June 2022, teaching a course on Research and Documentation. Earlier experience includes an internship with the National Park Service, focusing on the National Register of Historic Places, and an Exhibits Internship at the USS Constitution Museum, where Gretchen developed a notable exhibit. Other roles in retail management and museum collections management further highlight Gretchen's diverse expertise. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Preservation Studies from Boston University, a professional certificate in museum studies from Tufts University, and a BA/BA in Astronomy and Anthropology-Archaeology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
