Daniel Deeney

Daniel Deeney is an experienced CEO and investor in the enterprise software, security, and networking industries. Daniel is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Paladin Cloud, a rapidly growing open-source cloud security company. In this role, they have led the development of a Security-as-Code platform that helps developers and security teams reduce risks in cloud environments. Prior to Paladin Cloud, Daniel was a Venture Partner at Touchdown Ventures, where they managed a telecom corporate venture capital fund and made investments in enterprise software and security companies. Daniel has also served as the CEO of AetherPal Inc., where they successfully led the company's expansion into new markets and facilitated its acquisition by VMware. Daniel was a founding partner of New Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with a focus on enterprise software, security, and networking, where they worked closely with entrepreneurs and companies to invest in new businesses. Daniel began their career as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Lucent Technologies' Corporate Venture Capital team, evaluating new investment opportunities and directing portfolio management activities. Daniel's early experience includes working as the Director of Corporate Finance at Venator Group and as a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Mobilemedia Communications.

Daniel Deeney has a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from The Wharton School. Daniel also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. In addition, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
