John Grant has extensive experience in ethics education and civil liberties, currently working at Palantir Technologies since September 2010, where John develops and delivers content for an Internal Ethics Education program aimed at addressing ethical dilemmas faced by engineers. Prior to this role, John served as a Civil Liberties Engineer for the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute from January 2020 to March 2025. Additionally, John was the Chair of the Board for the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs from August 2006 to April 2010 and acted as Counsel, advising on homeland security issues. John holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center (2004-2007) and a degree from Duke University (1996-2000).
