Jorge Rojas has extensive experience in product design, interior design, and exhibit design. Jorge started their career as a Designer and Trimmer at Bloomingdale's in 1982, where they were responsible for implementing visual merchandising concepts and managing prop fabrication. From 1984 to 1988, they worked at The Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation as a Senior Store Designer, Installation Artist, and Chief Artist. In this role, they developed architectural design standards, designed retail fixtures, and implemented visual merchandising concepts.
Jorge then joined Banana Republic in 1988 as a Senior Store Designer and was responsible for generating store plans and developing design standards. In 1989, they started their own design studio, Rojas Design Studio, where they provided product design, interior design, graphic design, and exhibit design services for various clients, including Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, and Calvin Klein.
In 1994, Jorge became the Vice President of Creative Services at Calvin's Christmas/Garden Store, where they were responsible for store design, visual merchandising, and product design. Jorge returned to Rojas Design Studio in 1996 and continued to offer a wide range of design services.
In 2003, Jorge joined Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as the Head Designer, where they developed seasonal furniture and lighting concepts and managed sample fabrication with overseas manufacturers. Jorge also attended international trade shows for product selection.
From 2014 to 2016, Jorge resumed their role as the Principal Owner and Design Consultant at Rojas Design Studio, specializing in premium high-end furniture and decorative lighting design, as well as accessories and tabletop product design. In 2016, they joined Palecek as the Director of Product Design.

Jorge Rojas attended the High School of Art and Design from 1975 to 1979, where they focused on Illustration. Following their high school education, Jorge attended Brooklyn Technical College from 1979 to 1980, studying Graphic Arts and Advertising Technology. Jorge then went on to enroll at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they pursued a major in Interior Design from 1980 to 1985.
