Mark Steinback

Mark Steinback serves as Office Principal at Chronicle Heritage since October 2022, having previously held the same title at PaleoWest-Commonwealth Heritage Group until June 2023. Prior positions include Regional Director for Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. in New York and Senior Historian and Technical Editor at Panamerican Consultants, Inc. for over 25 years. Steinback has extensive experience in cultural resources investigations, conducting comprehensive research and analysis, and has co-authored over 700 cultural resource management reports for various clients, including the U.S. government. Steinback's educational background includes an Executive MBA from the University at Buffalo, an MA in History, and a BA in History from the University at Albany, along with an AA in Liberal Arts from Orange County Community College.
