Daniel Thum

Daniel Thum has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Daniel started their career in 2010 with a specialized internship in automotive engineering at Daimler Buses North America. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Knorr-Bremse as a Function Developer for Electronic Stability Systems and later as a Resident Engineer at Volvo Trucks. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of an Innovation and Future Technology Specialist at Knorr-Bremse, which they held until 2022. Daniel then became a Product Owner for Future Trailer Systems at Knorr-Bremse from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they joined PALFINGER AG as a Teamlead for Vehicle Integration in the Product Line Loader Crane. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Engineer for Vehicle Integration in the same company.

Daniel Thum obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from RWTH Aachen University, where they studied from 2004 to 2011. In 2008 and 2009, they also studied abroad at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) with a focus on Automotive Engineering. In December 2019, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance®.
