Patrick Berger

Patrick Berger's work experience includes various roles in HR and academia. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as an HR-Generalist at SALK - Gemeinnützige Salzburger Landeskliniken, where they handled employee relations and administrative tasks. From 2012 to 2015, they served as an external auditor at Raiffeisenverband Salzburg, providing consulting services to Raiffeisen banks and cooperatives. Patrick also worked as a scientific employee at Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg from 2019 to 2021, focusing on open innovation and crowdsourcing projects. In 2020, they became a lecturer at Fachhochschule Salzburg - University of Applied Sciences, where they taught HRM and organizational development. Recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Head of HR Plant Köstendorf at PALFINGER AG, where they are a member of the local management team and supports leadership development. Additionally, they are currently working as an external lecturer at Fachhochschule Salzburg, specializing in people and organization development.

Patrick began their education in 2015 at Fachhochschule Salzburg, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Betriebswirtschaft with a focus on Human Resource Management & Leadership, as well as Controlling & Finance.

In 2017, Patrick participated in an Erasmus+ study abroad program at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they studied Internationales Management. Following this experience, they returned to Fachhochschule Salzburg to pursue a Master's degree in Betriebswirtschaft with a specialization in Organisations- & Unternehmensentwicklung. Patrick completed this program in 2020.

Continuing their education, Patrick enrolled in Universität für Weiterbildung Krems in 2019 to pursue a Master's degree in Personalmanagement with a focus on Innovationsorientierte Personalentwicklung. Patrick is expected to complete this program in 2022.

In addition to their degree programs, Patrick has obtained several certifications. Patrick received a Fachtrainer certification from SystemCERT Zertifizierungsges.m.b.H. in August 2021, and a C1 Advanced English Certificate from Cambridge Assessment English in September 2015. Patrick has also pursued ongoing updates in areas such as Arbeitsrecht, Sozialversicherung, and Lohnsteuer through WIFI Salzburg. Furthermore, Patrick has completed the Bilanzbuchhalter-, Buchhalter- & Personalverrechnerprüfung through WIFI Salzburg, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
