Dirk Schroeder is the Founder and CEO of Updraft Health Innovation Advisors, specializing in strategic guidance for startup and early-stage health companies. With extensive experience in health innovation, Dirk serves on the boards of Telligen and Loh Medical, and holds positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor at both Emory University's Goizueta Business School and Rollins School of Public Health. Dirk’s expertise includes social entrepreneurship, digital health, and international health, complemented by a role as Chief Strategy Officer at Shepherd and Managing Director of Advancing Health Innovation in Africa. Previous work includes co-founding HolaDoctor and consulting on Latino health strategies. Dirk holds a Doctor of Science and Master in Public Health degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.
