Pole Kale

Policy, Planning and Governance Advisor: USAID Papua New Guinea Sustainable Landscapes Program

Pole Kale is currently the National Coordinator for the European Forest Institute's FGMC Programme. With a comprehensive background in Environmental Law and Forestry, Pole has extensive experience in project design and management, environmental governance, and climate change initiatives. They have held positions including Scientific Officer at PNG Forest Research Institute and National Consultant at the World Health Organization, where they led a pilot project on building climate-resilient health care facilities in Papua New Guinea. Pole possesses advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, including Yale University and Macquarie University, and has actively contributed to various organizations focusing on environmental sustainability and development.
