Foundation Preparation Pallas-reactor (PALLAS) is responsible for obtaining a licensable design, obtaining private investors, and constructing and operating the PALLAS-reactor. The new reactor will be one of the most leading reactors in the world: PALLAS will help tens of thousands patients every day by providing medical isotopes. These are the radioactive particles in nuclear medicine that are crucial elements in order to diagnose or treat illnesses such as heart and vascular disease and cancer. PALLAS will also be an important player in (medical) nuclear technological research.

The Engineering Team at PALLAS is responsible for the technical design, development, and integration of the PALLAS-reactor. This includes ensuring nuclear safety, developing and maintaining instrumentation and control systems, managing design assurance and control, ensuring cybersecurity, and overseeing the construction and installation processes. The team works collaboratively to meet regulatory requirements, secure the necessary licenses, and support the reactor's mission of advancing medical isotope production and nuclear research.
