John O'Dea

John O'Dea has extensive work experience, beginning in 1986 with Digital Equipment Co. where they held the role of Senior Engineer. John then moved to Nellcor Puritan Bennett in 1990, taking on the role of R&D Manager. In 1998, they became the CEO of Caradyne, followed by a stint as Plant Manager, Ireland at Respironics in 2004. In 2006, they took on the role of CEO at Crospon Ltd, Galway Business Park, Galway. In 2017, they joined Medtronic as Medtronic. In 2018, they were Director at Ceroflo and CEO and Director at Palliare. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Director at Aerogen.

John O'Dea completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at University College Dublin. John then went on to obtain an MSc in Clinical Research from the University of Galway between 2010 and 2012.
