The founder of Palm Tree, Pardis Nasseri has nearly two decades of M&A, private equity, investment banking, and financial accounting experience.

Pardis Nasseri founded Palm Tree in 2010 as a consulting and advisory firm with the alacrity, decisiveness, and agility of private equity so that it would better understand and serve its private equity clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nasseri has been involved in over $30 billion of successful M&A transactions as both an investor and advisor to some of the most prestigious private equity firms. He began his M&A career by working in the Transaction Services practice of PwC, then as an investment banker with Jeffries. He went on to work as a principal investor at the Los Angeles private equity firm Platinum Equity where he developed his interest in transactions, transitions, and transformations of businesses in special or complex situations.

Since founding Palm Tree, Mr. Nasseri has grown the firm from an independent contractorship to a team of over 40 professionals with multiple service offerings and offices in Los Angeles and Chicago. Palm Tree has been engaged in over 140 transactions worldwide in a dozen industries.

In 2019, Mr. Nasseri was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as being among the most influential private equity investors and advisors—a list of 44 trailblazing professionals who contribute to the local business community’s success.

Mr. Nasseri and his family live in Los Angeles and they actively support a number of local and international charities. Mr. Nasseri studied business economics and philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
