James Thompson

James Thompson is an experienced GIS Analyst currently working at Palmer Engineering since August 2022. Prior to this role, James served as a Stream Restoration Specialist at Northern Kentucky University from April 2022 to August 2022 and held positions as a Senior Technician - LiDAR and GIS Technician at NV5 Geospatial from May 2019 to April 2022. James's expertise includes quality assurance and control, data manipulation and classification, and maintaining high standards of precision and accuracy in data workflows. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Digital Mapping at the University of Kentucky, James previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geographic Information Systems from Eastern Kentucky University.
