Scott Ellingboe

Scott Ellingboe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Scott has worked as a Lead Cloud Administrator at Palomar Specialty Insurance Company, where they helped build, monitor, automate, and troubleshoot cloud platforms. Scott also coordinated code deployments, performed general maintenance, and documented cloud environments. Prior to this role, Scott worked as a Cloud/Server Administrator at the same company, responsible for managing resources in multi-directory Azure and AWS environments.

Before joining Palomar Specialty Insurance Company, Scott was an IT Systems Administrator at MME Group Inc. In this role, they provided support for Microsoft Windows servers and desktop systems. Responsibilities included Exchange Server administration, Active Directory and Group Policy administration, network administration, and responding to incident tickets.

Scott gained extensive experience as a Systems Management Analyst at Optum, where they provided enterprise-level support for over 75,000 servers in a VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Red Hat Linux environment. Scott also played a key role in architecting a VMware infrastructure for the Ingenix datacenter.

Earlier in their career, Scott worked as a Systems Administrator at Open Access Technologies International, providing support for a datacenter consisting of over 250 production Windows servers. Scott also served as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Midwest ISO, where they supported and administered a Microsoft Windows domain.

Scott's work experience also includes roles as a Network Administrator at MAPPCOR, where they upgraded the infrastructure and implemented best practices for a Windows domain environment, and as an Associate Customer Engineer at Entex Information Services, where they served as a system administrator for various clients.

Scott Ellingboe attended Dunwoody College of Technology from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer and Digital Technology.
