Valentin

Valentin is currently a Software Developer (Backend) at Panalyt. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product Engineering at Paidy from October 2016 to November 2020. Before Paidy, Valentin worked as a Software Engineer at Gilt Groupe from January 2014 to October 2016. While at Gilt Groupe, they were responsible for communicating with the application support and product teams, maintaining and evolving the main legacy Admin application, and developing new applications, tools and services. Valentin has also participated in evidence gathering for auditing purposes, interviewed new potential candidates, and participated in meetings with tech members to decide on the future of our architecture.

Valentin has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computational Intelligence from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Valentin also has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Valentin has a Certificate of Studies in CEELE from the Colegio Estudios Theirpanicos de Granada and a Certificate in Advanced English from the Access Language Centre. Valentin is also certified by The Japan Foundation - JEES in Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4 and N5.

Valentin reports to Alex Balon-Perin (Dev), VP Engineering. Valentin works with Biswarup Banerjee - Frontend Engineer, Artem Perchyk - Frontend Engineer, and Sharique Zaman - Software Developer.
