Panathlon is a charity that provides sporting and volunteering opportunities to tens of thousands of young people with disabilities and special educational needs every year.

Nearly 4,000 schools across the UK take part in ‘mini Paralympic’ multi-sport competitions for secondary or primary school children, along with dedicated football, boccia and swimming programmes. Panathlon has in the last few years trained thousands of young leaders (9,961 in 2025) aged 12-19, who act as sports officials for Panathlon competitions.
