Roman Sohal

Roman Sohal is a seasoned compliance and risk management professional with extensive experience across multiple high-profile organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer at Panda Remit since June 2021, Roman previously held roles at Meta as a Compliance Officer for Novi, and at Square in various managerial capacities focused on payments regulation and licensing. Prior experience includes managerial positions in Enterprise Risk and Compliance at PayPal, as well as serving as an Examiner at the California Department of Business Oversight. Roman began career at Live Nation, Inc. as an Accounting Specialist. Roman holds both a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Financial Management from San Jose State University.
