Yichen Zhang

Yichen (Charles) Zhang serves as the Executive Director at Lightspeed China Partners since April 2018, focusing on venture capital in China. In addition to this role, Yichen is an investor in several companies including Urtopia E-Bike, LeetCode, Webull Financial, and Panda Remit, all of which operate from various points post-2016. Previously, Yichen held the position of Vice President at China Growth Capital from April 2015 to April 2018, where emphasis was placed on investing in technology startups. Prior experiences also include roles as Senior Product Manager at Baidu, Inc. and Business Analyst at BearingPoint Management Consulting. Yichen obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and attended The Middle School of Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, Shaanxi.
