Pandas Karate is a family-run martial arts studio based in Derwood, Maryland, serving kids, teens, and adults with programs that build confidence, discipline, and real-world resilience. Since 2009 founders Master Daniel and Susan Amaguaña have grown a community-focused studio from a small warehouse in Gaithersburg to a multi-location program supporting families in Derwood, Olney, Rockville and beyond.

We teach traditional martial arts fundamentals, competition training, and practical self-defense, while also delivering our nationally recognized anti-bullying program, Sticks & Stones, which has been featured on local television. As an official partner of Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, we provide self-defense and confidence workshops for troops.

If you want professional coaching, a clear belt progression, and a supportive community that helps students succeed on the mat and in life, schedule a trial class today.
