Dean Ruston

Dean Ruston has extensive work experience in the technology and energy sectors. Dean most recently worked as an Account Executive at Pandell starting in June 2019. Prior to that, they held various managerial positions at Harvest Operations Corp., including Manager of Information Systems from May 2013 to June 2019 and Manager of Land Systems from September 2008 to May 2013. At Harvest Operations Corp., they were responsible for enhancing land information systems and providing daily support to multiple departments.

Before joining Harvest Operations Corp., Dean worked at Husky Energy as a Land Business Analyst from April 2000 to September 2008. Dean played a key role in converting systems during the company's acquisition of Renaissance Energy and led a team of Viking Technology consultants.

Dean also worked at Viking Technology Group Inc. as the Vice President of Land Systems from February 2000 to September 2008. In this role, they provided technical and business services to over 140 oil and gas companies, specializing in supporting land departments and utilizing various software solutions such as CSExplorer, Landman, Landrite, and GeoNexus.

Dean began their career as a Software Developer at Sovereign Life Insurance in 1988. Overall, they have a diverse background with a strong focus on information systems, software development, and land management within the energy industry.

Dean Ruston obtained a diploma in Business/Computer Science from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, where they studied from 1987 to 1989. In addition, they hold an Advanced Business Analysis certification from McMaster University. The month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
