Leif Elgethun

Leif Elgethun is a seasoned entrepreneur and energy efficiency expert with extensive experience in founding and leading innovative companies in the sustainability and energy sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Retrolux since May 2016, Leif has developed a comprehensive SaaS platform for utilities and contractors focused on energy solutions. Additionally, Leif serves as Principal Owner of Sprout Energy, providing sustainability consulting; Co-Founder and Director of Safe Access, which offers virus monitoring software; and has held various roles in companies such as Bluebird Solar and Light, E-Newables, and Intermountain Energy Partners, where efforts included developing substantial solar projects. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Idaho and multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, and Chemistry from the same institution.
