John de Papp has over 20 years of work experience, beginning in 1997 at Xilinx, where they worked as a Field Applications Engineer. John worked with local sales teams covering global and strategic clients in the greater Boston market. John quickly became recognized as a top performer by sales management and was viewed as a trusted advisor by numerous strategic customers. In 2001, they became an Ingenieur d'Applications (FRANCE) for Xilinx and worked with sales teams in western European countries including France, Britain, the Netherlands, and Belgium. John'sresponsibilities included advising customers on the selection of available technologies relative to their application requirements. In 2003, John was promoted to a Field Sales Engineer (France) for Xilinx, where they managed the sales process from opportunity qualification to fulfillment for strategic accounts throughout France. John created and executed account development plans designed to build long-term management and engineering relationships for a broad range of client types. In 2005, they were promoted to Strategic Applications Manager at Xilinx, where they managed a team of Strategic Applications Engineers that provided technical support and services to sales organizations and focused customers across North America, for the worldwide leader in programmable logic solutions. John worked with sales management teams to prioritize business opportunities requiring applications engineering expertise and managed service and support projects involving Xilinx and customer engineering teams. In 2009, John joined PanelClaw, Inc, as Vice President of Sales, where they managed product and service sales for strategic partners in the United States and Canada and defined and executed sales strategy, including lead generation and conversion, and account/client management. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President of North American Sales and Service for PanelClaw, Inc, where they collaborated with marketing to define and enhance inbound and outbound marketing processes and materials. In 2016, John was promoted to Senior Vice President of North American Sales for PanelClaw, Inc, and then later that same year, they became the Chief Technology Officer for the company. In 2022, they began working for Esdec Solar Group as the VP of Global Digital Engineering.
John de Papp has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. John also holds a BA from Dartmouth College in Engineering Sciences and French, and a Master of Engineering from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In addition, they completed the AeA/Stanford Executive Institute program at Stanford University in 2008.
