Maria Emig has over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Maria began their career in 1997 as a Real Estate & Regulatory Manager at Verizon Wireless. In 2002, they joined T-Mobile as Senior Manager, Engineering Development, Field Engineering and Operations, West. In this role, they managed cell tower site development, site decommissioning and lease portfolio projects arising from the Sprint merge, communicated with cross-team stakeholders and briefed the corporate governance team. Maria also directed budgeting and expenditure controls, developed strategies, processes and due diligence in collaboration with national, regional and market teams. Maria then became Manager of Systems Design Engineering/Enterprise IP and Security, deploying technology projects nationwide and recruiting, coaching and developing an end-to-end team of seven security engineers overseeing device acceptance and technical reviews (MOPS) while implementing production network changes. Maria also developed operational plans, set strategic direction and ensured operational readiness. Maria then became Manager of Development Engineering, coaching a project management team through development of cell sites, distributed antenna system (DAS), small cell, site modification and logistics programs. Maria built quarterly budgets and ensured consistent reporting, forecasting and data integrity processes. Finally, they were Site Development Manager/Real Estate & Zoning Manager, developing 2000+ cell sites, heading design meetings in compliance with leasing, zoning, permitting and construction regulations and deploying technology upgrades, including EDGE, UMTS and LTE services, network modernization and fiber backhaul deployment. In 2022, Maria joined Pano AI as Global Supply Chain Manager.

Maria Emig has a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and Project Management from Ashford University, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Management from Cameron University, and certifications from Karrass, T-Mobile, and ADEPT Leadership in Effective Negotiating, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Manager Mastery, Myers-Briggs Leadership, and Leadership Foundations, respectively.
