Ryan White

Ryan White's work experience starts with their current role as the VP of Engineering at Pano AI. Pano AI specializes in building early wildfire detection systems using connected cameras and computer vision technology. Before joining Pano AI, Ryan was the Senior Director of Engineering at Meta, where they worked on business messaging. Prior to that, they spent five years at Facebook as the Senior Director of Engineering for Business Integrity, leading teams that developed AI and software products to reduce negative experiences in Facebook Ads. Ryan's earliest experience in the industry was at Amazon, where they held various senior management roles. As the Senior Manager of Amazon Search, they led the development of core search machine learning algorithms. Ryan also led teams in Search Analytics, Search Assistance, and Sponsored Links during their time at Amazon. Before their tenure at Amazon, Ryan founded and served as the CEO of Euclid Media, a company focused on using computer vision for digital video product placement ads.

Ryan White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech between 1998 and 2002. Subsequently, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
