Ethan Carter

Ethan Carter has worked in the security and compliance field since 2009. Ethan began their career at PwC as an Information Security Operations Officer and Senior Information Security Consultant. In 2013, they joined Palo Alto Networks as Vendor Risk Manager, Third Party Audit and Compliance & Security Officer. In 2017, they were appointed Head of Security & Compliance at Panorays.

Ethan Carter obtained a Master's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from Carnegie Mellon University between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 1998 and 2002. In addition, Ethan has obtained several certifications, including a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from the SANS Institute in July 2011, an ISO 27000 Specialist from the SANS Institute in June 2010, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP from (ISC)² in February 2009, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA from ISACA in September 2005.
