Basil Hadjimichael

Regional Director at Pantonium

Basil Hadjimichael has had a long career in engineering and design. Basil began as a Controls Engineer at Dana Incorporated in 2000, then moved to Honeywell Aerospace in 2002 as a Control System Engineer. In 2006, they joined AMEC as a Design Engineer, where they worked on Atomic Energy - Nuclear Power Generation - CANDU Reactors and Control Systems Design. From 2007 to 2010, they were Technical Director at ETHOS ARCHITECTURE DESIGN ENGINEERING. In 2010, they founded and became Director of MeshMade Ltd, where they worked to make the future for Security & Smart Buildings. In 2021, they took on the role of Regional Director at Pantonium Inc.

Basil Hadjimichael obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering Co-op, Honors, Mechatronics Option from the University of Waterloo between 1997 and 2002. Basil then went on to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering from McGill University between 2002 and 2005. In May 2005, Basil obtained a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Professional Engineers Ontario. In February 2008, they obtained a Licensed Mechanical Engineer from the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), and in December 2011, they obtained a Licensed Electrical Engineer from the same institution.
