Patrick Kann

Patrick Kann is a serial entrepreneur and the current CEO & Co-Founder of Papaya, a social media platform. Prior to Papaya, Patrick was with Idealab as the New Ventures Group from January 2011 to March 2016. Patrick also served as a Board Member at GameMix from June 2013 to September 2015.

Before their venture into startups, Patrick worked in Corporate Development at eSolar from January 2008 to June 2011. Patrick was then a Private Equity Executive at Macquarie Bank from January 2007 to December 2008. Patrick started their professional career as a Summer Associate at Credit Suisse in June 2006 and August 2006.

Outside of their work in the private sector, Patrick has also served as a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank from January 2003 to December 2005. Patrick was also a Corporate Account Officer at BBVA from January 2001 to December 2002 and at Itaú Unibanco from January 2000 to December 2001.

Patrick Kann has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bs in Industrial Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo. Patrick is currently working in the field of Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
