Papercare is an AI Accountant for UK accountancy practices. Rather than another place to store the file, it is the colleague who reviews it.

The problem it solves

Storage was never the bottleneck in a practice. Reviewing is. A set of accounts goes to the partner, comes back, goes again, and on the third pass someone finds that the debtors control does not agree the aged summary. By then it is late and the deadline is close. Papercare reviews the file first, so the points are waiting before the partner opens it.

What it does

AI Review checks the balance sheet and profit and loss account the way a good senior does, and raises the review points before the partner opens the job. My Tax Expert answers UK tax questions and shows the sources it searched, including GOV.UK and HMRC guidance. My Assistant answers questions from your own client data. My Email Composer drafts client correspondence in your firm's voice. My Intelligence answers strictly from documents your firm uploads.

The platform underneath

A complete cloud working papers platform: import from bookkeeping software, a chart of accounts customised to your firm, ledger analysis, misposting review, control account reconciliation, checklists, customised reports, client and firm dashboards, and module-level roles and permissions.

How it stays accurate

Detection and arithmetic run in code. The AI only explains what the code found. Every figure passes a verification gate against your source data before it is shown, so if a number cannot be traced back to your ledgers, it does not appear. Papercare never files, posts or sends anything without you. Judgement and sign-off stay with the accountant.

Who it is for

UK accountancy practices preparing statutory accounts and tax returns, from sole practitioners to multi-partner firms. Sole practitioners get the one thing the job never gives them, which is a second pair of eyes on every file. Larger firms get consistency, with every job reviewed to the same standard whether a first-year or a manager prepared it. There is no limit on user numbers. Add the whole team.

Who built it

Papercare is built inside a working UK practice by Shrineel Patel FCCA. More than 30 real client jobs run through it every month before anything reaches a customer.

A full live demo is available with no signup and no sales call: a complete demo practice with live ledgers and every module switched on.
