Steven Turner has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Steven started their career in 1997 as a Field Engineer in the Australian Army, where they gained experience in construction and infrastructure. After leaving the military, Steven worked at Teletech International as a Quality Assurance specialist, assessing and coaching technical support representatives.

In 2002, Steven joined Melbourne University Private as an IT Support Officer, providing technical support to students and staff. Steven then moved to UoM Commercial Ltd, where they served as an IT Systems Support Officer and later as an IT Systems Manager, overseeing the IT department and providing solutions and services.

Steven joined The University of Melbourne in 2015 as an IT Systems Manager for Research, Innovation, and Commercialization. Steven was responsible for managing existing services and consolidating IT services across different networks and departments.

Since 2017, Steven has been working at PaperCut Software, starting as a Systems Architect in the APAC Technical Services team. Steven provided design and implementation assistance, as well as training and customer feedback for product development. Steven then became the APAC Technical Services Team Lead, managing a team of system and solutions architects. Currently, they hold the role of APAC Customer Success Lead, where they are accountable for the functional performance of APAC Customer Care, Technical Services, and Technical Support teams, aligning with global objectives.
