Edwin Dalorzo has over 20 years of experience working in software engineering. Edwin began their career in 1999 as a Software Developer at Crediahorro, where they leaded the technology migration for several of the company's systems. In 2002, they moved to Lidersoft and worked on the development of two major products. In 2005, they joined Cypress Creek Technologies as a Java application developer, developing a client/server desktop application. From 2006 to 2012, Edwin worked at Hewlett-Packard, where they held various roles including Senior Software Developer, Senior Java Developer, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Requirements Engineer. In 2012, they began working at Informatech Costa Rica as a Senior Software Engineer, developing a command-line tool for a financial company. From 2013 to 2020, Edwin was Lead Software Engineer at Backcountry.com, where they worked on designing and building service-oriented architectures. Edwin currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at Route since 2020, and will begin working as a Staff Software Engineer at Paperless Post in 2022.

Edwin Dalorzo's education history includes a Bachelor of Education - BEd in Teaching of Mathematics from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica, which they are expected to complete in 2026. Edwin also holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, which they obtained in 2005. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the HackerRank Go Basic Certification in 2021, the Oracle Certified Java Programmer with Java 6 in 2012, and the Sun Certified Java Programmer with Java 1.4 in 2005.
