James Freeman has extensive experience in friction stir welding (FSW) and engineering, currently serving as Chief Engineer at PAR Systems since January 2012, where responsibilities include conducting research and development projects, designing tools and fixtures, bidding on new projects, developing automated control software, installing machines, and providing training and troubleshooting support. Prior to this role, James Freeman worked as a Systems & Friction Stir Weld Engineer and Systems Integration Engineer at MTS Systems from February 2004 to January 2012. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines, completed between 1999 and 2003, and studies at Montana State University-Northern from 1998 to 1999.
