Patrick Faue is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at UW-Madison College of Engineering, where they focus on additive manufacturing of difficult-to-process alloys and multi-material processes for electric motor components. They have previously gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at PAR Systems, implementing machine learning in industrial control systems. Patrick also served as the Assistant Shop Manager at the UW-Madison CoE Makerspace. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Minnesota Duluth and hold both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison.
