Sam Boraas

Sam Boraas, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of cranes, environmental systems, and nuclear technologies. As a Senior Engineering Manager at PAR Systems since June 2012, Sam leads the engineering efforts for the Crane, Environmental, and Nuclear business segments. Prior roles include Engineering Group Lead in Mechanical, focusing on the design of custom robotic systems, and Mechanical Engineer at Applied Engineering Technology. Sam's earlier experience encompasses positions such as Design Engineer 2 at Tecton Products, Research and Development Intern at North Dakota State University, and various engineering internships. Sam holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
