Lead Systems Architect at PAR

Dave Balogh has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years. Dave began their career in 1999 as a Quality Assurance Analyst for KForce, Inc. In 2000, they worked as a Developer for IVANS, Inc., where they were responsible for Lotus Domino development, ASP development, and SQL Server development. From 2001 to 2013, they worked at IVANS as the IT Infrastructure Manager, where they were responsible for the management of 85+ servers spread across five locations, including two datacenters. Dave also implemented and managed Active Directory 2003, Exchange 2007 and 2010, VMWare ESX/ESXi 4.x/5.x, NetApp SAN and HP NAS devices, Cisco router, switch and ASA Firewall, KEMP and Foundry/Brocade Load Balancers, and network monitoring systems. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at ABILITY Network as the Director of IT Infrastructure, where they managed and developed a staff of system engineers and system administrators, migrated existing Exchange 2007 environment to a multi-site Exchange 2010 and then 2013 cluster, stabilized and expanded existing VMware vSphere 4/5 environment, upgraded second VMware vSphere 5 environment to vSphere 5.5 U2 and then to 6, and was co-responsible for combined Infrastructure and Network systems. Dave is currently working at PAR - Psychological Assessment Resources as the Lead Systems Architect.

Dave Balogh attended East Bay High School from 1992 to 1995. Dave then attended USF from 1995 to 1997. In May 2014, Dave obtained a VCP-DCA certification from VMware.
