John Hosterman, PhD, currently serves as the Chief of Accessibility and Disability Services at Paradigm Testing since March 2016, leading a team focused on accessibility and accommodations for high-stakes testing. Prior to this role, John was the Director of Global Accessibility at Pearson VUE & GED Testing Service from August 2010 to March 2016, where John initiated an accessibility team and developed corporate strategies for equity and diversity. Additionally, John co-owned a private practice in Wilmette, IL, from January 1995 to August 2015, and held the position of Director of Test Accommodations at the Association of American Medical Colleges from August 2006 to October 2010, where John also created an accessibility team. Earlier in John's career, John worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Northwestern University, an Educational Specialist at Triton College, and taught mathematics at St. Andrew's-Sewanee School and The Gow School. John holds a PhD in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University and degrees from William & Mary and Millsaps College.
