Douglas Sauer

Douglas Sauer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Douglas currently serves as a Software Developer Lead at Paradigm, starting in April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions from September 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, Douglas was a Consultant at USAA from December 2020 to July 2021, where they were part of the "Manage My Profile" team, focusing on member profile and personal information sections of the online system. Douglas created and improved reusable forms using the React framework.

From November 2013 to September 2020, Douglas served as an Application Architect at RealPage, Inc., working on front-end UI implementation for browser-based business intelligence and analytical applications. Douglas utilized technologies such as jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, and CSS to develop SPA dashboard-style applications.

At Wyndham Jade, Douglas held the position of Senior Java Developer from October 2007 to November 2013. Here, they developed web applications for conference and trade show registration, as well as an online reservation system. Douglas'sprojects involved utilizing jQuery libraries, developing RESTful web services with JAX-RS, and creating in-house utilities with Java Swing.

Douglas began their career as a Sr. IT Specialist at Lockheed Martin (Management Systems Designers) in 2006. Douglas designed and developed Java applications for the Internal Revenue Service, focusing on intranet web applications to track and respond to inquiries from tax practitioners and taxpayers.

Douglas Sauer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Technology from Colorado State University-Pueblo, from 1986 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed the Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE 1.4 certification offered by Sun Microsystems. Douglas also obtained the Sun Certified Business Component Developer for J2EE 1.3 certification, as well as the Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform certification, both from Sun Microsystems.
