Franco Freda

Franco Freda has extensive work experience in the field of audio in the gaming industry. Franco started their career in 2009 as a Sound Designer and Original Music Composer at Sabarasa Entertainment, where they worked on sound design and audio production for video games on multiple platforms. In 2011, they transitioned to working as a freelancer, providing sound design and original music composition for video games, interactive media, and audiovisual projects.

In 2015, Freda joined Gaming Corps as the Lead Composer and Sound Designer, where they worked on composing original music and designing sound for various projects until 2017. Franco then briefly worked at Playmagic Ltd as an Audio Director, where they focused on sound design, audio pipeline setup, and implementation for a First Person Shooter VR adaptation of an AAA title.

From 2018 to the present, Franco Freda has been working at Paradox Interactive, where they have held several roles. Franco started as a Senior Sound Designer, responsible for creating and implementing original audio assets for games such as Stellaris, Imperator, Crusader Kings II, Hearts of Iron IV, Europa Universalis IV, and Crusader Kings III. Franco also worked on improving existing pipelines and workflows to enhance audio quality and efficiency. Freda then became the Audio Manager at Paradox Development Studios, overseeing the planning, production, and implementation of audio and music for internally developed games and other audio-related projects. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Audio at Paradox Interactive, where they are responsible for the planning, budgeting, and results of the Paradox Audio Department, as well as the production and implementation of audio and music across various company projects.

Franco Freda attended the Escuela de Musica de Buenos Aires from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a degree in Professional Musician, with a specific focus on becoming a Professional Singer.
