Experienced Game Designer at Paradox Interactive

Verónica Pazos has a diverse work experience in various fields. Verónica started their career as a Literature Teacher at Psique Humanities Academy in August 2020. In the same year, they joined Grupo Ático as a Non-Fiction Writer, working on an educational book commission focused on medieval topics. Verónica also worked as a Fiction Writer for Munyx Editorial from November 2019 to May 2022, where they wrote two novels about Arthurian legends and contributed to historical and literary documentation.

In 2018, they were a Fiction Writer for Ediciones Dorna, working on a magical realism book set in the Mongolian Empire. Verónica also pursued their PhD at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela as a researcher from September 2019 to August 2020. Additionally, they taught Literature at Actividades Formativas (Activa) from October 2019 to June 2020.

Verónica's most recent role is with Paradox Interactive as an Experienced Game Designer since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as a Content Designer from September 2020 to May 2022. Verónica is also currently involved with a book commission on medieval topics for Grupo Ático, with a release date planned for 2023.

Verónica Pazos completed their education in a progressive and comprehensive manner. Verónica began their academic journey in 2012 at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language, History, and Literature, which spanned from 2012 to 2016.

Afterward, Verónica continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Medieval Studies, completing this program from 2018 to 2019. In 2017 to 2018, they also pursued a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Teaching at the Universidade da Coruna.

Seeking further specialization, Verónica enrolled at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela once again for their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language, History, and Literature, which they completed from 2013 to 2021.

To enhance their teaching methodologies, Verónica obtained a certification in "Metodologías de aprendizaje: CBL o aprendizaje basado en desafíos" from LinkedIn in June 2020.

Currently, Verónica is furthering their academic journey by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Universidad de Zaragoza in the field of Medieval Literature. The program began in 2020 and is projected to conclude in 2024.
