Brooks Taylor

Brooks Taylor is a data scientist currently employed at Parafin since April 2023. Previously, Brooks held multiple roles at Segment from May 2019 to June 2023, ultimately serving as Senior Manager of Product Analytics, where responsibilities included leading a team of 12 data scientists, enhancing the understanding of customer behaviors, and developing tools for in-product experimentation. Prior experience includes a fellowship at Insight Data Science, where Brooks created an application for optimizing shopping routes, and postdoctoral positions at Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of California, Los Angeles, focused on cellular mechanisms and immune cell dynamics. Brooks obtained a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Virginia.
