Steve Baer

Steve Baer is an executive cyber security leader with over 20 years of experience in the InfoSec industry, specializing in banking and e-commerce, as well as advanced technologies with RSA, Trustwave, and Dell-SecureWorks. Currently serving as the VP of Field Sales and Services at NetWitness, Baer has previously held significant roles including Chief Technology Officer at Trustwave and virtual CISO for various organizations. Baer actively participates in initiatives such as Infragard and the U.S. Secret Service Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force, and has spearheaded the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification as a Registered Provider Organization. They hold certifications in Information Security Management and have demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and team leadership.
