Jim McFarlane

Jim McFarlane is a Senior Quality Engineer at Parallax, where they wrangle happily with testing processes. They previously worked at The Nerdery as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, where they explored client psychology and automated testing efforts. Prior to their current role, Jim served as a Caption Editor at CaptionMax, refining their copy-editing and fact-checking skills. They began their career as a photographer, editor, and writer, having developed a unique perspective through their work in punk clubs and storytelling. Jim holds a B.S. in Contemporary Media and Journalism from The University of South Dakota.
