Cherie Ng

Cherie Ng is an accomplished professional in the field of drug discovery and immunology with extensive experience in scientific strategy and execution across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Drug Discovery at Parallel Bio since August 2025, Cherie previously held the position of Vice President of Research at Equillium, Inc. from October 2017 to August 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing a portfolio of immunology and inflammation assets through various development stages and managing clinical trial biomarker development. Career highlights include roles at aTyr Pharma, Inc. where strategic research initiatives were implemented, and significant contributions to viral persistence research during tenure at The Scripps Research Institute. Cherie's academic foundation includes a PhD in Pathobiology from the University of Washington, an MPH in Infectious Disease from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Biology from Earlham College.
