Alan Tong

Alan Tong has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alan worked as a Technical Customer Success Manager at Parallel Domain starting from April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant (Data Science) and an Undergraduate Research Assistant (Deep Learning) at The University of British Columbia from January 2018 to April 2023. Alan also worked as a Physics Programmer at Ubisoft from June 2020 to August 2021 and as a Research Intern at Bosch from June 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Data Analyst Intern at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute from January 2017 to April 2017.

Alan Tong completed their education at The University of British Columbia. Alan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics from 2015 to 2021. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2021 to 2022, also at The University of British Columbia.

In terms of additional certifications, Alan obtained several qualifications from Coursera. In September 2019, they completed certifications in Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, Sequences, Time Series and Prediction, and TensorFlow in Practice Specialization. In August 2019, they also obtained a certification in Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow.
