Machine Learning Engineer at Parallel Domain

Camille Ballas has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple years. They started their career with an internship at SNCF in 2012, followed by an internship as a daily reporting assistant at BP2I in 2014. Camille then worked as a developer at Dassault Systèmes in 2015. In 2016, they joined Dublin City University for a PhD in Machine Learning, during which they also worked as a Master intern on various projects related to IoT solutions and real-time video analytics. In 2019, Camille worked as a research visitor at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where they focused on a pruning project. Their latest experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Parallel Domain, starting in 2022.

Camille Ballas has an extensive education history. In 2010, they attended Lycée Pothier in Orléans, where they pursued a French "classe preparatoire" with a focus on PCSI (Physic, Chimie, Sciences de l'ingénieur). From 2013 to an unspecified end year, Camille studied at San Jose State University, where they gained international mobility experience in various subjects such as Network, OS, Web Programming, and entrepreneurship. Camille then enrolled at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée in 2014 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they attended EFREI - Grande école du numérique from 2011 to 2016, earning an MSc. in Computer Science with a specialization in IT for finance. In 2015 and 2016, Camille completed a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics from University College Cork. Finally, from 2017 to 2021, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Dublin City University.
